Innovative New Spa Switch Offers Sophisticated Functionality to Luxury Spa Manufacturers
Mamaroneck, N.Y. – Feb. 26, 2007 - Attached is a preview photograph of a revolutionary new spa switch designed and manufactured by Presair, LLC in Mamaroneck, New York. This energy-saving submersible switch represents a breakthrough in spa switches. Why? Traditionally, it was necessary to locate spa switches away from the water source, for fear of water getting into and damaging the switch. This sophisticated new switch is designed for placement close to the water surface or even in the water….with absolutely no danger of shock to people in the spa.
The luxury spa market will benefit from this product in many ways. The submersible switch allows for independent, individualized control of the jets, blowers and temperature. It can be installed separately, beside each seat, allowing each person control of their own jets and therefore, no one need move from their seat in the tub to perform adjustments. In addition, when used with a multi-pump system, the switch becomes an economical and energy saving device as it will operate with just one or two smaller horsepower motors, rather than a single high horsepower motor for the entire spa. Made with a soft plastic, the switch provides genuine easy-touch activation.
Esthetically, the control is reminiscent of popular sleek Italian designs. The standard model is illuminated with green and red lights that are easily located in a steamy environment. For functionality, the switch offers four different illumination color options, or manufacturers can choose a non-illuminated design. In addition, the Presair switch is available with electronic packages tailored to connect directly with pumps, lights or blowers. The controller will be available to spa manufacturers in April.
